We were invited to the technology conference Changing the Picture to talk about workflow and the importance of metadata. The conference is held at Babelsberg Studio, outside Berlin in Germany, (Europe’s largest and oldest studio), with focus on the newest trends and applications for content production and distribution.

Producer Stein Kvae and DP John Christian Rosenlund, both part of the Drylab team, took the stage and eloquently presented the workflow used for the 2017 Norwegian Oscar Nominee, The Kings Choice, and the important part the Drylab system played in both the production and post-production processes. Without metadata, there is no good way to track, organise and search through your thousands of clips and comments that makes the film.
