Dailies Viewer

Useful dailies. Find any clip in seconds, wherever you are.

To have every take in my pocket, easily available inside this little iPad is incredible. It's a revolution.

Erik Poppe, director (A Thousand Times Good Night, Troubled Water)

Watch dailies or other video related content on-set or anywhere. Fast, secure and intuitive. Our powerful metadata solution helps you to find any take in less than 5 seconds.

Dailies Viewer 2 makes finding a take really simple and really fast. Need to find out exactly how an actor moved in the previous scene that you shot two weeks ago? What about lighting or continuity? You'll find it in no time, reducing costly re-takes and increasing quality.

Dailies Viewer 2 organizes clips from the entire production by day, scene, shot, roll and tag (including circled), and even offers full-text search within all your information. Viewer is perfect for directors, cinematographers, script supervisors, make-up, actors and even composers and VFX, who are often somewhere far away. And of course: Producers can finally keep good tabs of where their money is going.

Keep everybody on the same page

Dailies Viewer 2 becomes a complete library of your production, with every clip from start to finish instantly available to authorized team members. This makes working together easy on-set and off-, especially during shooting, but also in post-production. Having access to the exact same material means more control, fewer misunderstandings, smoother collaboration, improved quality and money saved.

Set Report

Drylab Set Report is mostly used by script supervisors. It replaces traditional set and camera reports on paper for professional, digital movie and TV drama productions. User-friendly and powerful metadata capturing and management ensure consistency and quality throughout the production process.

Write or tag essential information that happen on set. In a very efficient way, you relate what you shoot to the shooting-script, to the scene, slate (shot), day, or take.

Reliable, fast and intuitive data entry

We've designed Set Report to be stable, fast and easy to understand.

New shots are numbered intelligently, based on the convention you prefer. Fields are copied between takes, so when you add a new take, the repeated information will already be there.

Automatic filenames

Camera filenames are unfortunately long, complex and easy to mistype.

Set Report can calculate Alexa, Canon and RED file names: Add a take, and it increases the clip number automatically. Change roll, and the clip counter is reset. You're also free to manage file names completely yourself.

Circled takes and powerful tagging

Circle a take with a single tap on the screen. By using tags it's also quick and easy to indicate interior, exterior, dawn, morning or day shots. Tags are a powerful and flexible way of categorizing your takes.

Pictures for logging and reference

Take pictures on set with your iPhone camera, or choose from your library.

Using the camera is a quick and convenient way to collect information and context during shoots. Picking images from the photo library is great for keeping e.g. reference photos and storyboards at hand.

Reporting and Dailies

Set Report makes it very quick and easy to share reports: Select the shooting days you want and instantly email or print them.

Instead of hunting through paper reports, it takes me seconds to find the references I need for costume, make up or dialogue. I will never go back to paper.

Dailies Creator

Simple, fast and secure

Dailies Creator 2 imports clips, combines them with essential metadata (such as scene numbers, days, rolls), and sends everything to Dailies Viewer 2 running on your team's authorized iPads.

Clips and metadata are distributed quickly and securely to team members both on on-set (via local Wi-Fi) and elsewhere (via Dailies Server running in the cloud). Your content stays safe and secure, with encrypted connections both locally and when traversing the Internet.

Distribution works even if you don't have a permanent, fast Internet connection: All you need during shooting is local Wi-Fi, a huge advantage when working on remote locations. Clips are downloaded and stored on the iPads, so you can work with them on planes, trains and even the car between your hotel and the set. Dailies Server co-ordinates productions, users and permissions, even when your team is distributed between locations, countries or continents. We take care of running your server, so that you can be up and running in no time.

Dailies Server

Dailies Server is usually the domain of the DIT, and is used to add or remove productions, and to manage access to them. It also co-ordinates communication between Set Report and Creator, and between Creator and remote Dailies Viewers. Only the DIT (or another admin) needs a username and password — everyone else can pair their devices using a secure, one-time code.

To get started, contact us. The two first weeks are free.

Welcome!
